About this program
The Master of Marketing develops a solid base of knowledge and expertise in the latest marketing techniques and technologies. Building on a foundation of marketing principles, best practice and new approaches to customer relationships, you will learn how to think more strategically about value, positioning and competitive advantage. An understanding of consumer behaviour in fragmenting markets, within well-grounded approaches to market research and integrated marketing communications, is acquired. A highlight of the program is the integration of theory and practice throughout the courses and exposure to cutting edge marketing practices.
The Master of Marketing is offered full-time and part-time on campus at the Nathan campus. You may choose to study courses at other campuses if or where the program structure allows.
As a full-time student, you will generally attend 12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester.
As a part-time student, you will generally attend 6 hours of scheduled classes per week.
Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week. Sufficient classes will be scheduled from 4pm to accommodate part-time students unavailable to attend classes during the day.
International students must maintain a full-time study load.
Graduates are prepared for a broad range of career avenues, and have the ability to pursue a senior management career within the marketing profession.
